***Covid 19 Update***
Updated 1600hrs 05/01/2021
We are still operating our normal hours of work. The restrictions announced by Boris Johnson on 04/01/2021 mean we still have to carry on providing dental services. Thank you for your understanding during this very trying time for us all. There have been many challenges along the way but we believe we have managed to slowly increase our patient appointments. We are seeing patients for Dental Emergencies and regular treatments too. We are seeing more patients for routine check-ups when we have spare slots available. Please bear in mind routine cleaning (Scale and Polish) is not currently carried out with the routine check-ups. This is because the additional PPE required and extensive cleaning required afterwards wont allow for this. We are still prioritising our patients and trying to accommodate the most urgent patients firstly.
Sometimes there is a shortage of PPE and all stocks can be limited. We will only see patients with the correct PPE to keep you and our staff safe. All our dentists and clinical staff have been fit-tested to wear the FFP3 masks many months ago. This provides the highest level of protection when used correctly with our standard operating procedures. When you come for an appointment you may notice that additional PPE, safety screens at reception we use and procedures for all our safety.
Call reception to book an appointment- Where you will be assessed and booked. You will be asked a few questions before an appointment is offered.
Do not enter the practice without an appointment.
The front door will remain locked at all times
Do not visit us if you have any Covid symptoms/ temperature/ cough or loss of taste/ smell or self-isolating or anyone in your household has these symptoms.
If you are shielding please advise us.
We can only do LIMITED TREATMENTS ONLY with our backlog.
We have fewer appointments available to allow for proper cleaning and minimizing spread.
When you arrive for an appointment:
Call us when you arrive from your car or the front door. The front door will be locked.
Wear a face-mask or face covering from home.
If you wait outside please maintain social distancing please.
Your temperature will be recorded when you enter the practice.
Toilets will not be available for patient use.
Only 1 person will be admitted- unless accompanying a child
Outside normal working hours:
If you have a dental emergency when the surgery is closed, during evenings and weekends, please dial NHS 111 where you will be assessed and booked in to see an emergency dentist, if necessary.
This emergency service operates:

24 hours/day - Weekends & Bank Holidays
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience, but we hope you understand our reasoning. As you can imagine, this is something we have never had to do in the past, but these are exceptional times.
In the meantime, we hope you remain healthy and strongly urge you to follow government advice at all times.
